Civil Litigation Paralegal
Job Posting: Experienced Civil Litigation Paralegal (Contract - Trial Support)
Location: Atlanta, GA
Duration: Approx. 1 month to assist with April trial - potential to go beyond the month
Hours: Full-time with strong potential for overtime leading up to trial
Pay Rate: $30 - $35/hour
A well-established Atlanta-based law firm is seeking an experienced civil litigation paralegal to provide trial support for an upcoming jury trial in April. The ideal candidate will have prior experience assisting attorneys in civil jury trials, including document preparation, exhibit organization, and courtroom support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in trial preparation, including organizing and managing case documents and exhibits
- Provide support during trial proceedings, including preparing witness materials and handling logistics
- Coordinate with attorneys to ensure seamless case management and strategy execution
- Conduct legal research and assist with drafting motions, pleadings, and trial briefs as needed
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal with civil jury trial experience (ability to hit the ground running)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
- Proficiency with legal research tools and document management systems
