Accounts Payable Specialist

Our client is seeking an Accounts Payable professional temporary to permanent. Very high volume department (over 2k invoices per week, role itself will handle 200-250 per week).  Manager is a strong mentor and is seeking someone that will learn and grow.  

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable transactions, including invoice verification, coding, and approval.
• Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable activities and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in accounts payable or a related accounting role.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while meeting deadlines.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with vendors and internal teams.
• Bachelors Degree required
